He then purchased a revolver, and went to Lawyer's Head and fired two bullets into his 'head. He then walked to the trani and returned to town, and was conveyed -to the hospital. Both bullets are lodged in Davenport's head, and an operation will be necessary to extract them. He expressed his regret for what he had done.
