[BI TELEGEAI'H PB.ESS ASSOCIATION.} MASTERTON, This Day. A painful sensation was caused in Masterton this morning by tho discovery of the body of Miss Maud Bunny in a lake at Lansdowne. Deceased was reported to have suffered a severe disappointment some tune ago, and this played on her mind and impaired her health. Yesterday afternoon she went out at 4.30 and left a letter, which caused her relatives great uneasiness. The polioe were communicated with, and a fruitless search commenced last night, and continued this morning, till the body was discovered at 6.30. Deceased was forty years of age. Later. At. the inquest this morning a verdict was returned that deceased committed suicide whilst temporarily insane.
