FIRE.
[BT TELEGRAPH — PKESS ASSOCIATION.] GREYMOUTH, This Day. Osmond Butler's sawmill was seriously damaged by fire early this morning, the flames having a full hold before any of the neighbours were aware of the outbreak. Most of the woodwork of the surrounding machinery was destroyed, thereby injuring the plant. The mill is insured in the Phoenix office, but the amount is not available. The A.B.C. Fire Alarm is simple, effective, and reliable; acts on both gradual and sudden rise in temperature, and is on the insurance companies' list for 10 per cent, rebate.— J. B. Finlay, agent, 20 Hunter-street. — Advt.
