o A.N OFFICER SHOT DEAD. Bj Telegraph.— Press Association — Copyright, PARIS, 12th August. Two coiners were being overtaken by the police at Oullins, near Lyons, when one of them turned, and, drawing a revolver, shot a policeman dead. The crowd pursued the murderer, who fireu thrice, wounding one 'of his pursuerb. Finally a policeman shot him in tho leg, and the murderer then committed suicide. The other coiner escaped.
