DEPUTATION TO MR. FISHER. CENTRAL MILLS. A MONEY ADVANCE ASEED FOR. 3y Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received August 13, 10.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. A deputation asked the Federal Prime Minister, Mr. Fisher, to advance money for the erection of central sugar mills. He replied that the matter was one for the State. Constitutional difficulties were in the way, otherwise the Federal Government would not hesitate. He added that the time was near when the Commonwealth would have power to appoint a tribunal to adjust payments between parties in the sugar industry.
