WAIHI GRAND JUNCTION. [BX TEC.ECRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WAIHI, sth July. Since developments in the east end of the Waihi Grand Junction mine, which disclosed important values and widths on the Royal and Empire lodes, and which continue to maintain their values, an assay by Haszard and Haszard shows that the trend of the Empire lode runs into the Waihi Extended property. The management of the latter mine is now driving at a similar level to the Grand Junction with a view to picking up this lode. The Royal lode is running into the Waihi Reefs Consolidated property. CONSOLIDATED GOLDFIELDS. Following is a copy of a telegram received from the Consolidated Goldfields by the Wellington Stock Exchange : — "Progress crushed 3932 tons, yielding bullion value £5261, cyanided 2785 tons yielding £1015, sulphurets produced estimated value £660. Wealth of Nations crushed 1675 tons, yielding £2272, cyanided 1570 tons yielding £392. Blackwater crushed 3240 tons, yielding £6979, cyanided 2245 tons for £1036." NEW BIG RIVER. The following telegram from New Big River Gold Mining Co., Ltd., was received by the Stock Exchange : — "June crushing short period 48oz lldwts from 70 tons from battery, and 107oz 2dwts from 300 tons from cyanide, total value about £460."
