In the House of Commons, Colonel Seely, Under-S&cretary of State for the Colonies, said that ifc wag stall the policy of the Government not to give .money to- assist emigration. No steps, he added, would be taken to alter the functions or organisation of *the Emigrants' Information Office. The ■•whole subject of reorganisation — which >was a difficult one— was-now under consideration.
