GRAND JUNCTION.
[BT TELEGRAPH — SPECIAL TO THE POST.J WAIHI, 4th July. The fall in the price of< shares in the Waihi Grand Junction Company this afternoon was probably due to the circulation of a report to the effect that the new make of ore in the drive east on the Empire reef at No. 5 level had cut out. .Developments underground continue satisfactory, and the manager informed your representative this evening that the rumour is without foundation.
