BURIED IN A FALL OF EARTH.
RESCUED AFTER TWO HOURS. VICTIM SERIOUSLY INJURED.
FBI TELBGBAPH — PEESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, This Day. During excavating operations at the property of P. Gleeson, Cleveland-road, Parnell, James Dalrymple, aged 45, unmarried, was buried in a fall of earth. He was relieved after two hours' work, when it was discovered that the shovel with which he had been working had been driven against his right thigh, fracturing it badly. It was also evident that he was suffering from internal injuries. Shivnan was removed to the hospital, where an examination showed there was little hope of his recovery.
