FIRES.

Yesterday eveninjc at 6 20 o'clock the fire brigade received a call to a lire in a three-storied brick building in Singer'savenu?. just behind Carroll's corner, used by Charlie Johnson, as a cabinetmaker's workshop. Tbe third floor waa wall ablaze wben tbe brigade arrived, and a portion of it was badly damaged before the fire was got under. Tbe itmsinder of tbe building was slightly <iamaf<td by wat«r.
