WOOL, SKIN, AND HIDE SALES.

• Messrs. Levin and Company, Dalgety and Company, Murray, Roberts and Company, Abraham and Williams, and tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company held their usual wool, skin, and hide sales yesterday. There \sas a largo accumulation owiug to the Easter holidays interfering with the customary fortnightly date. The attendance of buyers was good, and competition was keen for wct>P and skins at last sale prices ; but hides were a shade easier. The following me the prices :—: — Wool : — Merino medium to 9d ; fine crossbreds, 9d to 10id ; coarse erossbreds, 6Jd to Bid ; lambs' wool, 4^d to Bid ; pieces and bellies, 4id to 6d ; locks, 2Jd to 44d ; crutchiiifls, 4±d to 5Jd. Skins :— Merino, inferior, 6Jd to 7Jd ; fine crossbreds, 8d to 9id ; mpdium crossbreds, 7d to 84d ; coarse crotsbieds, 7d to Bid ; hogget skins, 6d to 6Jd ; dead skins, Sjd to 6jjd ; dead hoggets, 5d to 6d ; lambskins, aid to 7Jd ; J to i wools, 4d to 64d ; dry pelts, 2Ad to 6£d ; green pe,lts, 2s to 4s 4d ; lamb pelts, Is 6d to 2s lOd.
