At a late ltour last night the Austrian carfo steamer Georgia, from Xew York via Albany and Auckland, came to an anchorage in the jlream. This fleet comprises thirty-three large steamers, including the twin-screw tran>»-Atlantic liners Martha Washington, 14,000 tons, Oceania 9500 tons; Laura, 10,400 ton*. Alipo 10,400 tons, and Argentina, 9300 tons— fome of the best equipped mail and passenger steamers plying between the Mediterranean and Xew York. The line maintains regular services between Trieste to North, South, and Central America. Mexico, and West Indies, and the fleet is one of the largest fly in i; the Austrian flag.
