There was a stormy all-night sitting of tho Legislative Council of Orange River Colony, the Bill providing for tho extension of the bi-lingual principle among school teachers causing much opposition. The measure subjects teachers to disabilities unless they can speak and teach the Dutch and English languages. The Bill was read a second 1 time, on tho casting vote of the President. . [It was mentioned yesterday that Mr. Gunn, Director of Education in Orange River Colony, had resigned his position owing to the bi-lingual proposals.]
