NEW HIGH SCHOOL OPENED.
[BY TELEGRAPH— PftESS ASSOCIATION.] OISnORXK, This Day. The Hon. (}. Fow Ids this afternoon performed the ceremony of opening the new high school building. There was a large attendance and the proceedings were favoured with glorious weather. Tho Minister said he approved the decision of the governors to establish the school on broad and modern lines. Under the proposed scheme about threefifths of the work would be common to all courses, tho remainder being more or less specialised. It was an attempt to provide reasonable efficient secondary education for all sections of the community.
