St. Felix was the quickest to begin from a good start, aim with a furlong gone his nearest attendant* were Succession, Magneto, and Explosive, whilst Royal Marine was a long way back, and Marengo was last. St. Felix continued to show the way round the home bend, where Succession lost her place, and, never being headed, he won easily by two lengths. Explosive got home a bare neck in front of Ukraine, whilrt Idealism was fourth, and Succession fifth. Tims, lmin 29 2-ssec.
