AMERICAN BUCKET-SHOPS. A FAST WIRE. GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL'S DISCOVERY. 'By Telegraph.— Prcsi Association.— Copyright. (Received April 5, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 4th Apiil. In connection with the raid on 250 bucket-shops in various cities of the United States, and tho arrest of thirty principals, including five reputed millionaires, it is stated that tho bucket-shops po«<essed a fa6t wire connected with the New York Stock Exchange, and that this wire gave them market reports some minutes ahead of the tapo machine. A Government official tapped the wire and ascertained that not a twentieth of the commisrions offered wero executed.
