CATHOLIC CLUBS.

» The annual conference of delegates representing the various Catholic clubs in- the Dominion was held at Greymouth during Easter. It was decided that the annual conferences, which hitherto have been movable from year to year, should be held alternately at Christchurch and Wellington, as being the most accessible centres. By this change it is hoped to secure at future conferences stronger direct representation of clubs as being essential to & truly successful conference. The following is the list of officers of the federation for the ensuing year :—President-Gen-eral, His - Grace Archbishop Redwood, S.M., D.D. ; President. Mr. A. H. Casey ; vice-president, Mr. H. M'Keowen; hon. secretary, Mr. J. L. Leydon ; hon. treasurer, Mr. J. M'Gowan ; executive, the foregoing officers and Messrs E. B. L. Reade, D. Butler, and E. J. Leydon. The next conference will be held in Christchurcb at Easter, 1911. The conference also decided that the federation interest itself actively in the formation of conferences of St. Vincent! de Paul Society, and the establishment of boys' guilds undei the auspices of the Hociety.
