MONEY MARKET. The Bank of England rate of discount remains at 4 per cent., to which it was raised on 17th March. The open market rate of discount for best thrco months bills is unchanged, at 3 11-16 per ceut., and short loans are 4 higher, at 3g per cent. Tho open market rate for throe months bills in Paris is unchanged, at 2% per cent., whilo in Berlin it remains at 33 per cent. GRAIN AND FLOUR. The wheat marmots aro firm, and buyers are more disposed to operate, but are unwilling to pay higher pricos. Cargoes aro steady. Safes hare been effected at 383 9d to 39s 4id ; a steamer parcel afloat brought 36s 4Jd. There is little enquiry for on the spot wheat, ot aboat 425. Flour. — Tho market is quiet, i-.id prioes unchanged. Australian patent, April-May, is held for 29s 6d, landed at Glasgow. Oats.— Market dull. La Plata, March-. April, brought 4s ljd. COLONIAL AND OTHER PRODUCE. Butter. — There is steady trade. Danish is unchanged. Choicest Australian, ilos to 120s, and occasionally 1225. A few lets brought 1245. The cold weather is retarding European supplies-. Tho m«rkot closes firmer, owing to the loss of the Pericles's cargo. Thero is fair trade in New Zealand cheese, at 61s to 625, nnd occasionally 63*.
