KARORI HOCKEY CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. i The annual meeting of the Karori Hockey Club was held last night. In the report comment was made upon the fact that the senior team only played one championship game on the Karori Recreation Giound last year, it being considered that the u.-sodation might play a few more matches there with advantage. The club had suffered tbe loss of Messrs. H. Willis and D. Elias, who had left Wellington. Two sticks, presented by Mr. C. H. Dickerson, were won by Messrs. T. Spiers and H. Willis. Messrs. T. Spiers, C. Campbell, H. Willis, and G. Davies all attained representative honours. Mr. E. Atkins had resigned tho secretaryship, and Mr. A. G. Cathie nad accepted the office. Officers .were appointed as follow :—: — Vice-prrsidents, Messrs. C. Dasent, T. Campbell, and B. Burn; captain, Mr. G. W. Davies ; vice-captain, Mr. T. Spiers ; secretary, Mr. J. W. Gendall ; trcasurei. Mr. W. Cooper, committee, Messrs. L. Davies, T. Bailey, M. Spiers, and A. G. Cathie. Twenty new members were elected. It is expected that the club will be able to "place i ctrong team in the field for the senior chumnionship. A practice will be iiold to-morrow at Karori.
