Simcox and Nicolson defeated Perm and Rodevin, 9—5,9 — 5, while for the singles, Bacchus defeated Freeman, 9—l.9 — 1. The. annual meeting of the Otaki Football Club, convened for Wednesday night, lapsed on account of the poor attendance. Over £20 was taken at the Druids' fcports on Monday, and nearly £11 at the "Bocial" in the evening. Mr. Fred Sims, who nas been connected with the local hockey club, was on Wednesday presented by his clubmates with a brief-bag. Mr. Sims intends leaving shortly for England.
