At the yearling mles, Mr. Reid (New Zealand) paid 200 guineas for a Positano —Circe lilly ; 125 for a Developer—Minting Queen filly; 100 for a Ladurlad— Ozone filly, and 115 for a Ladurlad— Urana /illy. Mr. J. P. Donnelly gave 140 guineas for a Persian Knight— Fairy Queen filly. The. following were sold on account ot Mr. Moore, of Wanganui :— Ronald, 300 guineas ; Bassano, 80 guineas. On account of the Hon. J. D. Ormond, of Napier, there weie sold the Birkenliead— Content filly, 80 guineas, and Birkenhead —Lyrebird filly, 130 guineas.
