SALVATION ARMY.
Colonel S. L. Brengle, of the Salvation Aimy, evangelist from the international headquarters in London, opened "a poulsaving revival campaign" in the Wellington Citadel last night. Though the weather outside was bleak and biUer,. there was much warmth of enthusiasm within and the Colonel met with a very hearty welcome. Colonel Knight presided, and on behalf of the Wellington Provincial district received the visitor with his colleague, Ensign George Cook, a tine linger. Adjutant Ounn, of eh« Wellington City Corps endorsed the welcome. Colonel Brengle tpoke nf th» purpose for which Jesus Clirift came into, the world, declaring that the Salvation Army was one of his agencie* for working good, and an influence in leading tner and women to better lives.
