AN OFFICER DISMISSED. In (onnection with the lecent trouble between two officers of the Dominion Scouts at an encampment at Lower Hutt, Acting-Lieutenant Houston has been dismissed. The trouble occuried on 6th February between Captain J. Dalrymple, who was in command of the Dominion Scouts, and \tting-Lieutenant Houston. A Military Court of Enquiry was set up to consider the case, consisting of Colonel Campbell. Major Courtney, and Captain Essen. The court took evidence and furnished a report to the Government. The report was considered by Cabinet, and the recommendation of the court forwarded to the Governor in the usual way. The result now is that instructions have been gircn in accordance with the repoit of the Military Court for the dismissal of Acting-Lieutenant Houston.

In addition, there is a case, under a different section of the Act, in which the defendant will be charged with inciting, instigating, aiding, or abetting a. strike.
