DOUBLE BURNING FATALITY.
THE INQUEST. (bt teleobafh — ritxss assooiatioh.7 HAWEHA, This Day. An inquest concerning the bunting fatality at Noimanby vus held to-day. Tlieie was no evidence to show how the fire originated. When it was first noticed by a neighbour at 3 a.m. the house was nearly a mass of blazing minx Mrs. Couttx was crippled by rheumatism, and from the position of her body it appeared that she lwd only been able to struggle on' the bid. Her daughter,* remains were found near the back door, the girl apparently having almost succeeded in making her escape. Tlie victims weie the only occupants of tho Ikjufc at the time. A violent gale was raging at the time of the fire, whiih, while deadening the sound from the burning building, mused it to burn furiously, and the next-door neighbour m.ik unaware of the hie until the place «u fc in a.-luv.
