IO THE EDITOfI. Sir, — In refeieme to the above danger. I may state that I ha\e served on two occasions on inquests on children who have met their doath- 1 through the use of this mateiial. At tlic last inquest I proposed to bring in a rider to the effect that the Government should put a heavy duty on this material to stop it being imported, but this was ignored by my fellow-jurymen. I claim that the use of this article causes the death of many children in the Dominion in the course of a f«w years, and it i» high lime for the Government to take action to stop the aiticle bemg imported.
