ETNA IN ERUPTION.
♦ STREAM OF LAVA 1500 FEET WIDE. TWO VILLAGES DESTROYED. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. ROME, 25th March. In connection with the eruption of Etna, it is reported that tho lava from four craters joined and made a stream of 1500 feet wide uud twelve feet deep. It is des-cending at tho rate of half a mile hourly. It has destroyed the villages of Capriolo and Barello, and is threatening Bclpasso. 'Ihe inhabitants are placing sacred rehes in front of their house*. Twenty-three shocks were registered at Etna Observatory in eight hours.
