A terrible disaster to a wedding party is reported from Carlowitz, Hungary. Thirty-five people, mostly young men, were returning from a wedding, and crossed the Dabrawa River in a small boat, which was overloaded. Some of the party was intoxicated, and indulged in all sorts of joke,s and pranks. The boat sank in mid-stream, and twentythree of the occupants were drowned.
