Me>.:?. Dtilgety and Company, Ltd., report having held the fortnightly sale at their Upper llutt yaidson ThuViday. Stock came forward up to adveitis-ed numbers, the sheep and cattle yards being well filled, and a total clearance of alf lines being effected. Prices were quite on a j>m with late rate*-, any lines of young btock being keenly competed for, and realisations weie in * ; ellers>' favour. The following prices are quoted : — Two-tooth breeding ewes, small, lib 4d; full-mouth ewes, 3s 3d to 10s 6d; two-tooth wethers, Email, 11s; shorn lambs, G& 3d; woolly lambs, 7s 3d, 6s, 5s 2d, 3.' lid, and 5s 3d; ;tged Lincoln rams, 17s to £1* Is; aged Romney ramp, 6s 3d to 10s. Cattle. — Springing dairy heifers, £7 17s 6d, £7, £6 17s 6d, £6 15s, £5 17.s 6d, £5 12s 6<l, and £5 ss; weaner steers, 27s to 30s; mixed weaners, 20s; store cows and calves, £4 3s to £4 ss; 18-month stceis, £2 17t.
