ASSOCIATION MEETING. At a meeting- of the Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association helcWast evening, Mr. H. >C. Holmes was appointed chairman of the committee "for the ensuing heaFon. The following applications for affiliation were »ppro\p{l: — Wadotown Wanderers, St. James Y.M. Club, St. Augustine' e, Petonc. / The secretary was instructed to write to all clubs stating that players in matches must appear in proper club colours. .Alterations in the Brown Shield regulations were agreed to. A consultative committee was appointed to deal with all correspondence and to report to the General Committee; and «. special sub-committee was appointed to arrange ways and means for purchasing a ground. It «a?. also resolved to call for tenders for putting the grounds in ordei. Committees were set up as under: Grounds and Championship — B. L. Salmon, J. Davidson, TV. Aultl. Postponement Committee — A. 6. Barnett, K. Mackay, and B. L. Salmon. Boys' Sub-Committee- -H. N. Holmes, B. L. Salmon, Brother Frederick, together with two to be elected from boys' coaches Selection— J. B. Paton, H. "Mayer, A Williams. It was resolved to begin all league matches on 7th April, entries for eham pionships to close on or before 29th March. BOYS' INSTITUTE. The Boys' Institute Association Football Club mooting was held last evening. The report and balance-sheet were adopted, and the following officers were elected :—President, Mr. G. A. Troup : vice-presidents, Messrs. H. T. Thompson, J. Thomson, M'Farlane, Geo. Hutchinson, D. Howitt, and A. East ; hon. secretary, Master J. Howitt ; hon. treasurer, Mr. C. P. Coloneus; hon. captain, Master G. Hill : Selection Committee, Mr. Dick, and Masters S. Bedell, E. Fumes, E. Richards, and G. Hill. The institute will probably put four teams in the field this season.
