PROGRESS IN BACTERIOLOGY.
A FRENCH SCIENTIST'S DISCOVERY. . By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received October 29, 8.20 a.m.) LONDON, 28th October. Reuter's Agency reports that M. Jean Commandon, a young French scientist, has shown magnified microbes, by means of the cinematograph, fighting each other in a drop of blood. He also showed microbes of sleeping sickness as large as eels. It is believed the discovery will be an invaluable aid to bacteriological research.
