RELIGIOUS RIOTS IN AN ITALIAN TOWN. POPE FORBIDS SACRAMENTS. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. LONDON, sth October. Serious rioting has occurred in Adria, a town in the province of Venice. During tho disorder's, in which a mob of several thousand fanatical Catholics took part, Bishop Boggiani was attacked and nearly stoned to death. In consequence of this sutburst, the Pope has issued a universal edict against Adria and the surrounding country, forbidding all public sacraments, including matrimony.
