IN THE MARKETS.
■ Exceptionally good prices were given for jonquils and daffodils in the public markets this morning. The flowers were in comparatively short Mipply, but it is anticipated that the maiket will be much better supplied next week. Tho principal sales in the fruit mart were m&de in bauanas, some thousands of cases having been landed from Fiji. Prices were fairly satisfactory to both buyers and producers. Another lot of bananas will be put on the market next week, when a shipment from the Cook Islands will reach Wellington,
