THE NEW SEA WALL A TENDER OF £35,610 ACCEPTED.
At the Harbour Board meeting yesterday, the chairman (Mr. T. M. Wilford) reported that the tender of Mr. C. F. Pulley, for the sum of £35,610 7s, being in order, had been accepted for tho construction of concrete sea-wall and culvert extensions at Waterloo-quay Reclamation, North, with Messrs. Peter M'Ardle and F. Lamberg as sureties. The seal of the board was affixed to the contract. The chairman slated that this would make £49,610 worth of work pushed on with during the last few weeks, and it would be seen that the board had done its utmost to expedite the works under its control.
