VICTORIA'S GOLD.
A DECREASED OUTPUT. B> Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received July 23, 10.50 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The gold yield of Victoria last year amounted to 721,220 ounces, of the gross value of £2,850,000. Compared with last year, the returns show a decrease of 33,050 ounces in the gross yield, mainly owing to the closing of some of the deep, lead mines. Victoria's output since the discovery of gold now totals 66,464,132 ounces, ol the value of over £282,000,000.
