NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council, held on the 10th day of June, 1909, tho following Resolution was passed : — The Wellington City Council hereby makes by Special Order the following Bylaw under and by virtue of and in exerciso and in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in them by "The Municipal Corporations Act. 1908," and "The Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908," and of all other powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf. The Short, Title of this Bylaw is "The Wellington City Bylaw No. 6 (Abattoir), 1909." The objects and purport of the proposed Bylaw are: — 1. To provide for tho regulation, uso, management, and control of tho Wellington City Abattoir; and thereby to conserve public health, safety, and convenience and prevent nuisances. 2. To regulate the sale of meat in tho City and to provide for the licensing of meat vendors in the City and tho regulation, control, and inspection of the meat supply of the City. 3. To ensure the payment of charges and fees to be fixed under "The Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908." j And NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the said Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at, the Ordinary Meeting of tho Wellington City Council to be held on THURSDAY, the 15th July, 1909, at tho Council Chambers, Town Hall, Cuba-street, Wellington, at 7.30 p.m., when tho dato on which tho said Bylaw will come in force will be fixed. A full copy of this Bylaw is deposited at tho office of i.he Town Clerk to the said Council, at tho Town Hall, Cuba-atreet, and may bo inspected there by all persons during tho ordinary office hours.
