TAKE TO THE BOATS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,— As a woman, lam very pleased indeed to see some one has ventured into print about the above subject, and given the press the thanks they really deserve. What can the travelling public be thinking of? Why have they not demanded that these boats must replace those old wooden walls that have sent so many to a watery grave? Women, let your voices be heard . in this matter, and demand the protection we are justly entitled to ! What are our authorities doing in the matter? Thanking you for your kindness, Mr. Editor, — I am, etc., ' A WOMAN.
