[BY TELEGRAPH — SPECIAL TO THE POST.] GREYTOWN, This Day. The- Ladies' Hockey Association haying decided to play two rounds for the Age Cup, the first of the second round was played in Greytown on Thursday, ■when the local Dreadnoughts (Kia Toas) beat Dalefield by 10 goals to nil. This second round came as a surprise, as the Kia Toas had really won the cup "on the first round, before the Masterton people proposed the second. However, the local team have made up their minds to give no points whatever to their opponents, and will fight every inch of the game. A pleasant evening was spent in debate between teams from the Masterton V.M.C.A. and the Greytown Debating Societies, three aside. The question, "That Labour legislation has benefited the people generally," was the topic. Masterton took the affirmative, and Greytown the negative. After one and a half hours' talk, the judge gave his decision in favour of the Mastertop team— l 97 points to 175. Messrs. Pitterdreigh, Maxto'n, and Irwin represented Greytown, and Messrs. Turner, Cole, and Hebenton Masterton, Mr. R. Tate being the judge. There was a capital attendance of the public, who took keen interest in the discussion. After being confined to his room for many months with a serious illness, Mr. T. Kempton was driven into Greytown Jo-day. '
