SERIOUS FLOODS.
DAMAGE IN WETERN TATE. j SEVERAL PERSONS DROWNED. ! By Telegraph.— Piess Association.— Cop> right. LONDON. 9th July. Renter's correspondent at New York states that reports f rom the Middle West indicate that the serious floods which have swept many parts of Colorado, Missouri, and Ohio have spread to Kansas and other States. Several trains have been derailed while traversing lines that were under water, and in one case four cars rolled over into eighteen feet of water near Pattonsburg, on the Wabash railroad, near Grand River, in Missouri. Several persons were drowned in this accident. At other places the floods have been equally severe, and thousands of people are homeless.
