AUSTRALIAN JOINT-STOCK BANK.
' RECONSTRUCTION PROPOSALS. By Telegraph.— Press Association. — Copyright, (Received July 10, 10.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Australian Joint Slock Bank directorate has issued a circular to shareholders covering proposals for reconstruction. The scheme proposes that present shareholders shall be given £1 shares in the new concern against their uncalled liability of £2 10s per sharp. Arrangements are to be made for holders and dcpositoi-3 of inscribed deposits to take up shares if they so desire. "B" deposits will receive 2s 6d in the pound cash, 10s lOd in^iiiterminable inscribed stock, and^6s oil in preferential shares. The new share capital of the hank will be £3,582,000. It is understood the reconstructed bank will be called the Australian Bank of Commerce.
