One of these is the Association game * Wellington v. Taranaki, the butter province having challenged Wellington for the possession of the Brown Challenge Shield. Newtown Park will be the scene of this struggle, which is expected to be a very keen one. On the Basin Reserve, Wellington and Auckland lacrosse representatives will try conclusions, Und another interesting game is looked for. In both Jlugby and hockey are several fixtures which should produce exciting contests. The issue will also contain the other usual features of interest to followers of field sports.
