It w;u> a decided success?, the entries numbering over seven hundred, ihe birds, taken altogether, were very fine. Bad weather spoiled the attendance. NELSON, Bth July. At the Nelson Poultry Association's annual show, other South Island championships were, won as follow: — White Leghorns, A. France, Seddon ; silver Wyandottes, Betth and Coleman, Nelson; white Wy&ndottes, I. L Lord, Blenheim ; brown Leghorns, E. Maxted, Blenheim ; dueler, Fairey and Best, Nelson. Pigeons : Clean-legged longfaced tumblers,, H. W. Littlejohn, Wellington; magpie, AT. 0. Grcnside, Wellington. Thu iis^ot ial ion's tv.o-guiiica trophy for Jacobins, owls, Jantailt, and turhols, was v.on outright by E. J. Fallu, Wellington Me?sis. Alilers, Littlcjohn, Grcnside, and Fallu scored heavily Jh tho pigeon classes.
