A QUARTER'S EXPORTS.
INCREASE, OVER A MILLION. The exports for the whole of the Dominion for the three months ending 0v.,1 June last, as supplied by the Industries and Commerce Department, show an increase in value of £1,379,555 over the corresponding period of 1908. The values for the month of June, 1909, were £1,376,771, and for the month of June, 1908, they were £1,121,493, showing an increase for the month of £255,288. The values of exports in pounds sterling compared with those for the three months ending 30th June, 190y and 1908, are as follow: —
It will be seen that there are substantial increases in the June quarter of 1909, in values of all staples, over the returns for the quarter ending 30th June, 1908. ___
