The Cunard liner Slavonia, while bound fi-om New York to the Mediterranean, went ashore on Flores, one of the Azores Islands. Her passengers, numbering 410, were taken off by other liners. It is feared the, Slavonia will become a total wreck. NEW YORK, 12th June. The Spanish steamer Antonio Lopez (5975 tons), with 526 passengers and a crew numbering 135, went ashore at Fire Island, near New York. The passengers were rescued in life- i boats. i
