The weeidy session of the King's Coronation Lodge of Good Templars was held last Fiiday evening. Bro. L. Pnrris, C.T., presided. One new member was initiated, and one ofher readmitted. The District Lodge executive paid a sin prise visit, and, with the members of the Kia Ora Lodge, were officially welcomed. Bro. W. Smith, D.C.T., presided. A resolution was carried unanimously, protesting against the granting of licenses in the King Country. Copies -of the resolution are to be sent to the Ministers of the Crown and others conoernpd. A short discussion on "The Good of the "Order," and songs and recitations by visitors and members, helped- to pass a pleasant . evening. Greetings from various lodges were received and reciprocated.
