Alter discharging London cargo and shipping carro for London, the vessel is to proceed in the order mentioned to Napier, Gisborne,, Auckland, V, r aitara, and Wellington, being due here about the end of the month. She (Ills up at this port, and is expected to get away for London about the 3rd July. On Thursday next the large cargo steamer ATrftio is due at Timaru from Sydney. She is to collect a general cargo, mostly grain, for London, and bhould get away in about a fortnight. CLAN LESLIE, LEFT ALBANY. * This morning the steamer Clan Leslie, which is under charter to Mr. G. H. Scales, sailed from Albany, Western Australia, for New Zealand. The vessel will call first at the Bluff, where she is due for orders on Monday next. The Clan Leslie is a turretdecked steel screw steamer of a total* tonnage of 3037 tons. She is 359.8 ft in length, 48.1ffc I; m depth, and 24.5 ft in breadth. Like her t "Clan" predecessors, she is owned by tjie ~.yejr-known firm of Cayzer, Irvine and Co., of Glasgow. The Moana, due on Wednesday morning from Sydney, has on board a total of 09 passengers for New Zealand. Of the number 38 are in the saloon and 31 in the steerage. To-raorrow the Government steamer Hinemoa is to leave Auckland for Thames, where she ship's a tower for the Cape Brett lighthouse. The Marine Department was advised this 1 afternoon that the bell buoy washed away ■ Xiom. the old channel at Nelson will be replaced by a beacon until the buoy has been goc into position again.
