At tho Police Court to-day, John Cline, roadman, at Dannevirke, and Alice Maud Shepherd, a domestic, were brought up and charged with the murder of an infant, the body of which wcis found in a town sewer here a fortnight a?o. The police applied for a remand till next Friday, winch was granted. Bail was refused.
