LODGE MEETINGS.
The Star of Wellington Lodges 1.0. G.T., held its weekly session in Riohards's Hall, Cuba-street. Thero was a' I good attendance of members and visitors, and a very successful spelling be* was carried out. A number of naval members from the warships in port contributed to the harmony, and greatly helped to make the meeting an enjoyable one. At the meeting of tho Southern Cress Lodge of Oddfellows, on Thursday night, the officers and members of Zealandi* Lodgo paid a, friendly visit, and wer» cordially received. Tho following nomi. nations wero received for officers for tb« ensuing term:—N.G., Bro. H. Finch 11 V.G., Bro. L. Bodlev; R.Sec., Bro. A. (Bodley;( Bodley; Sec., Bro. P. J. Evans; TreasBro. A. Leigh Hunt. The holding of « joint installation of officers of Southern Cro9s and Zealandia. Lodges was discuss, ed, and referred to tho. executive offi. cers • Bro. A. Leigh Hunt presented to the lodg« a framed photograph of th« group of representatives at tho raeonfc rand Lodgo session. At the close of tl« meeting a card tournament between tha two lodges was held, which resulted in jc win for Southern Cross.
