LATE SHIPPING.

DEPARTURES. June 11— Rosamond, s.s. (3.10 p.m.), 721 tons, Edviu, for New Plymouth and Onehunga. THE MAPOURIKA. At midnight last night the Union Company's steamer Mapourika sailed from Greyniouth for Westport, Nelson, and Wellington. The vessel is timed to leave Nelson at 8 o'clock to-morrow morning, and 1 may be expected to reach Wellington about 5 o'clock in the evening. THE WAKANUI. During the night the New Zealand Shipping Company's s.s. Wakanui should arrive here from London via Capetown and Hobart. The medical Inspection will take place early to-morrow morning, and the vessel on being cleared will berth at the Queen's Wharl. KUMARA LEFT LONDON. Cabled advice from London states that the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's steamer Kumara sailed from London on the 9th inst. for Auckland and Wellington. The vessel should reach Auckland about the 27th July. F/br the month ended the Ist May (says the Mataura Ensign) the Lake Wakatipu steamers yielded revenue amounting to £573 11s 4d as compared -with £466 10s 5d for the corresponding period of last year. While there was a considerable falling otf in passenger traffic this year this was more than compensated for b> the goods traffic. The New Zealand Shipping Company's s.s. Rimutaka is to leave Ljttelton to-morrow for London, via Mnte Video and Teneriffe. On Sunday next the collier Kamona is to lcavo Greymouth for Lyttelton and Wellington. Toward the end of ne.xt week the Westport Coal Company's collier Regulus will be placed on the Patent Slip for her periodical overhaul. The Canopus is also to be withdrawn shortly for the same purpose, and will probably be docked at Lyttelton in about a fortnight. H.IIS. Challenger is to lea\c WeUington on Sunday morning for Auckland, whence, after a short stay, she proceeds to the Cook and other Islands.
