The Petone Bowling Club, owing to its large membership, is desirous of securing an extension of its green, and to this end Mr. 11. In all probability a meeting of Korokoro Ratepayers' Association will bo held next week for the purpose of considering tho question of securing a public hall. To about sixty Petono Association football enthusiasts, Mr. W. Woods, of Wollingtofi, last ox-oning, in tho Municipal Buildings, gave an interesting lecturo on the rules of the game. The lecturer, who was heartily \hankeld for bis address, received a pressing invitation to give another lecture at some futuio date.
