BANK ROBBERY.
ACCUSED AT BOW-STREET. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright (Received May 17, 8.35 a.m.) LONDON, 16th May. Windell — who was arrested in Mad eid and brought to England under an extradition warrant — and Francis K : nig, a clerk arrested in London, were eh a/i-g-ed at Bow-street with robbery from the London and South-Western Bank. The prosecution alleges that Bang forged advice notes. Windell, whose real name is Berraard Isaac, in a confession, admits tba.t he obtained £290 from each of eight branches of the bank. It was alleged that King, who. was a clerk in the Harlesden branch of the bank, notified the other brand ms that £750 was being transferred from Harlesden to them, to the account of VVindell. The latter thereupon presented,, himself at the different branches, and drew £290 from each.
